Abstract

ZENX is an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain optimized for ultra-low transaction fees and sub-second finality. Built on a Proof-of-Authority consensus with a planned migration to Proof-of-Stake, ZENX aims to provide infrastructure for DeFi, gaming, and micro-payment applications where cost efficiency is paramount.

1. Introduction

Existing EVM chains face a trilemma: Ethereum is secure but expensive; sidechains are cheap but centralized. ZENX solves this by employing an optimized PoA consensus with 2-second block times and a gas limit of 80M, allowing ~2,000 TPS with fees under $0.001.
